I am a licensed therapist with over 19 years of clinical experience, currently offering counseling services to California residents living in the San Diego area. My practice is primarily devoted to working with survivors of trauma and women. However, I regularly work with both males and females for a variety of issues. Currently, all therapy is done via Telehealth.
Life is often a bumpy road with many unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes those twists and turns are exciting and full of joy, and sometimes they can be difficult to navigate, perhaps even overwhelming or painful. A period of supportive therapy can help us express our feelings, learn new skills, and help us find effective solutions to the issues we face. Whatever path you find yourself on in this season, there is always an opportunity for further self-exploration.
Much of my training and experience involves working with women and adolescents who have experienced trauma, such as abuse, neglect, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault/rape, home invasion, etc. Trained and experienced in Trauma Informed Care, I am sensitive to the impact trauma may have on an individual and those who love him/her. It’s important to know that you are not alone and that there is hope and healing beyond trauma!
In a confidential environment, I strive to create an atmosphere that is safe, nurturing and supportive. Many of my clients have expressed that I am easy to talk to and relate to, and that they find therapy to be very helpful and healing.
